As a Chartered Market Technician®, James focuses his time on developing, implementing, and monitoring the firm’s investment strategies.
After serving as a retail financial advisor in the first 10 years of his career in financial services, James began managing discretionary portfolios for retail clients in 2004. After affiliating with a regional registered investment advisory firm, he formed his own registered investment advisor firm and led the team that developed a proprietary investment system and process. James joined Turning Point as CIO in 2023. As the holder a variety of prestigious industry designations, James continues to apply both technical knowledge and strategic insight to drive results.
Outside of work, he serves on two charitable boards and is involved with his community. He is passionate about his family and enjoys playing steel guitar in a country gospel music band.
