Since 1974, Tom has established hundreds of professional relationships with employees and organizations as a seasoned retirement planner and financial advisor. He is well known for his unique ability to provide practical, actionable advice on saving and investing for retirement. By clarifying complex financial terms and concepts to employers and individuals, he makes retirement planning much less daunting.
Tom has completed an extensive professional education program at The American College and is highly experienced in the qualified retirement plan markets. He has personally served hundreds of educators and their families and is a sought-after resource in 403(b) and 457 plans. He also served as a member of the Maryland State Superintendent’s Advisory Board for Special Education Programs, helping children of local low-income families. He and his late wife, Susan Pignone, established the Tom & Sue Community Service Scholarship Foundation for qualifying children of Montgomery County School System employees. Tom and his wife, Kate, enjoy their large family of six adult children and seven grandchildren.
